Clinton Kalani Haina Sr., 70, of Ocean View died July 28 at Kona Community Hospital. Born Sept. 2, 1941, in Hilo, he was a retired Mac Nut Farms of Hawaii field superintendent, Wolf John Irrigation supervisor, Greenwell Ranch cowboy, Kona Property Management Inc. employee and Division of Forestry employee and National Guard veteran.

Friends may call at 11 a.m. Aug. 18 at Ocean View Community Center on Leilani Circle in Ocean View for a celebration of life. The family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

He is survived by wife, Sally Haina of Ocean View; sons, Clinton (Gina) Haina Jr., of Pepeekeo, Clayton (Kristyn) Haina Sr., of Ocean View; daughters, Theresa (Jeff) Haalilio Sr., of Ocean View, Leeann (Eric) Sesson of Milolii, Tiare (Guy) Mamac Sr., of Honaunau, Elisalyn (Kuwaika) Carvalho Jr., of Ocean View; half brother, Billy Choy Hee of Laupahoehoe; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
